New builds

Commission a yacht of your own

Building a yacht is one of the few truly bespoke experiences left in the world. Every line, material and room is shaped around how you live on the water. Daniel guides you from the first sketch to the day she is handed over, working alongside the shipyard, the designer and your owner’s representative, so the process stays a pleasure.

  1. STAGE 1

    Your vision

Where you will cruise, how many guests, how you like to entertain, and the budget and timing. This becomes the brief every decision is measured against.

  2. STAGE 2

    The yard and the designer

Semi-custom or full custom, and which house suits you, from Benetti, Feadship, Amels and Lürssen to San Lorenzo and Azimut. Yard visits, reference yachts and a shortlist of designers.

  3. STAGE 3

    Specification and contract

The general arrangement, technical specification and price are negotiated in detail. Payments are tied to build milestones and protected by the contract.

  4. STAGE 4

    The build

Regular progress reports and visits to the yard as she takes shape, from hull and superstructure to interior outfitting and your final choices of finishes.

  5. STAGE 5

    Sea trials and delivery

Performance trials, final inspection and acceptance, then registration, crew and her first voyage. Daniel stays with you through the handover and beyond.
